What an incredible LVTAF 2025! With nearly 1,000 Travel Agents and over 300 global suppliers joining us, this flagship event was a massive success. The positive feedback is pouring in, and we’re already working on making 2026 even bigger and better!
The TravelSMG Team arrived in Las Vegas a few days early to ensure every detail was in place. From stuffing bags to setting up signage, we handled the behind-the-scenes hustle to make sure the event ran smoothly!
The event officially kicked off on March 30 with a bustling registration area. That afternoon, the conference program began with some incredible offerings.
Avoya Travel kicked things off with three powerful sessions:
Expanding Your Agency Through People, Clients, and Technology
A New Era of Excellence in Travel Education
The BEST Solution for Your Organization’s Travel Education Needs
Group Travel from A to Z was our 3-part series focused on the lucrative group vacation market! This extended program offered a focus on finding and servicing group business (including their unique needs); tips and tools to streamline and properly manage groups of any size without overwhelming your agency; and the contractual elements and language to keep your agency and clients safeguarded. Amy Leon from Adventures by Amy was our moderator, and our speakers were Dian Holland from the Jamaica Tourist Board, Kelly Hogan from Scenic Cruises, Erin Miller from ALG Vacations, Veranda Adkins from Travel Legacy, Inc., plus our attorney speaker Jeffrey Ment.
Agents could also attend the Agency Accelerator Presented by Travefy Academy! This workshop was designed to inspire and equip you with the leading marketing and sales best practices. Travefy’s team covered actionable tips on marketing strategies, sales best practices, and key steps to set your business up for long-term success.
The next morning started off bright and early for our SELECT delegates, who enjoyed a series of Ultimate Breakfast presentations. Our SELECT group could choose to hear from Basecamp Afromaxx Limited, Carnival Cruise Line, Mexican Caribbean Tourism Board, or Saxony Tourism.
Our conference program continued with panels focused on automation & innovation for your agency, luxury travel tips, growth strategies to maximize your destination partnerships, and much more.
After an educational morning, it was time for a break for lunch. Our SELECT delegates enjoyed another series of Ultimate presentations. They could choose to attend presentations by Exoticca, Grupo Xcaret, IMG, and The Maldives with Reollo Travel.
The afternoon started back up with our Discover Destinations Series! This series of panel discussions and presentations allowed you to literally choose your own adventure and learn about the destinations that mattered to you and your clients most. We heard from Travel Alaska and all the adventures that await. Gran Canaria taught everyone how to sell the perfect island escape. Australia Tourism alongside Air New Zealand explained how to create unforgettable Australian experiences for your clients. Florida, the Sunshine State, showcased iconic cities and coastal retreats. Visit Anchorage taught us to travel like a local. The British Virgin Islands gave us insights into the 60 islands in the archipelago. The region of Sardinia showcased their commitment to unique hospitality. And, The Hawaiian Islands gave us exclusive travel insights and updates on each island.
Next up? Our Roundtables! These roundtables are a great way for small groups of agents to learn about the products they are most interested in to grow and expand their business. Each supplier has several minutes to talk to each table before rotating to the next. Agents get to sit back, take notes, and watch their knowledge grow. Our Roundtable session focused on 4 topics: Hotels & Resorts, Tour & Package Vacations, Cruises/Tech/Business Services/Transportation, or Destinations & DMCs.
After a long day of learning, the Travel Agent SELECT group of delegates were treated to an evening reception full of networking and meaningful conversations in the Legends Lounge of the Paris Hotel.
Our next full day began again with another series of Ultimate Breakfasts for our SELECT delegates. This time their options were Avanti Destinations, Holiday Extras, The Best of Puerto Vallarta, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand alongside Globe Holiday.
For our Agents attending, the conference program kicked off again with even more ways to learn and earn— from marketing strategies to an incredible amount of tips and tricks for selling cruises, building a stronger brand, understanding travel insurance, and so much more.
Tuesday also featured one-to-one meetings with our SELECT delegates. These appointment-based meetings put agents face-to-face with suppliers for a personalized conversation.
The afternoon featured a lunch presentation sponsored by Sandals and Beaches Resorts. The Team shared updates on new products and group benefits plus other engaging features designed to offer clients the perfect vacation.
After lunch, our Discover Product Series kicked off with all the latest information from Viator, AvantGarde Vacations/DowntownTravel, Arte Museum, Tern, Century Cruises, and VAX VacationAccess. And we wrapped up the afternoon with the opening of the trade show floor!
That evening, attendees were treated to a full Las Vegas experience in the Skyview rooms at the top of The Horseshoe: A Night Above The Strip.
We listened to some great music and had fun with close-up magic, face painting, and a caricature artist. The views were absolutely breathtaking. A little bit of fun alongside a lot of great networking was the perfect way to wrap up a busy day.
Wednesday morning was the Sunshine Showcase Breakfast for our SELECT delegates. They spent the morning learning more about everything the Sunshine State has to offer, thanks to VISIT FLORIDA and its partners: Greater Miami CVB, Visit Central Florida, Visit Indian River County, and Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor.
After another morning of the conference program with a talk from Scott Koepf on building and cultivating your database to maximize results, we kicked off a new session for 2025— Around the World! We explored a world of travel delivering a comprehensive blend of destination and global experience presentations with Tablao Flamenco 1911 Madrid Experience Abu Dhabi, African Ample Assistance, Japanet Cruise by Japanet America, Viagens Abreu, S.A., and Mexican Caribbean. Once our conference program wrapped for the afternoon, the trade show floor opened back up.
We can’t forget everyone’s favorite part of the event—the prize drawings! We had over 30 exciting giveaways donated by our incredible suppliers. It was a blast to see the excitement on everyone’s face when their name was called! A big thank you to all of our suppliers who participated in the giveaways! We loved seeing the excitement on everyone’s face when their name was called.
We’re still working on the finishing touches of our full recap video and will be sharing that on our socials as soon as it is complete.
Save the date for 2026! We’ll be at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, May 12 - 15, 2026.
